With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Joel Marius is the founder of Fortunium Wealth Management, headquartered in Apollo Beach, Florida, serving clients nationwide. He is known for helping individuals in their 40s, 50s, and 60s develop clear, structured strategies for retirement income, tax-efficient withdrawals, healthcare planning, and legacy preservation—all guided by the framework of the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation.

This achievement represents years of hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to mastering the complex strategies that help people build sustainable, reliable income in retirement. The program challenged me to think critically about how to help clients not just retire—but retire confidently.

With this milestone, Joel is excited to focus even more on helping individuals and families create effective retirement income strategies that support long-term financial security and peace of mind. 

Joel’s path to financial leadership began in the world of athletics. A proud alumnus of IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida, Joel was a competitive athlete whose dedication, discipline, and performance mindset shaped his professional approach to finance. He later graduated from the University of South Florida (USF) with a degree in Business Administration and Finance, combining the strategic mindset of an athlete with the analytical discipline of an economist.

 This foundation—built on focus, integrity, and perseverance—has defined how Joel approaches financial planning today: with the same level of precision, preparation, and teamwork that elite athletes bring to their craft. 

Over more than two decades, Joel Marius has guided clients across the country through some of life’s most critical financial transitions. His expertise extends across:
